Better drivers for SiS 650/740 integrated video?

You can have a look here
http://www.winischhofer.net/linuxsisvga.shtml
The main problem is that SIS has a proprietary windows driver which enables 3D acceleration , but has not produced one for linux. Th linux driver basically makes your system usable nothing else.
Even if you are able to install the drivers from the above link, dont expect any drastic performance improvements as your chip is 10 years old.

Is there an open source .NET library that can render PDFs to images (for server-side processing)? I know of PDFsharp, AFAIK it can only create and process PDFs, not render them.

Admin over 13 yearsHi I'm having the same issue but I started out with 9.04 loaded on here and the video worked great under that build, is there a way to make it use the drivers from 9.04 under the newer 10.04?

erikkallen over 14 yearsTo me it seems that it can only create PDFs, not render them. Just like PdfSharp. Is this a wrong impression?

Behrooz about 8 years@MattEphraim I think your wrapper violates on the AGPL license of ghostscript. You should probably verify this and clarify in the readme file on github.

neminem about 7 yearsYes, itextsharp does a lot of things, and does them well, but rendering is not one of the things it does. Great for grabbing existing text and form data, though.
