Mac Excel 2016 - Decimal points instead of commas on graphs

On Mac OS Mojave you can change the decimal separator without changing the region. Go to System Preferences > Language & Region, click Advanced... and you will see a dialog that allows you to set the separators. enter image description here

I'm using a French Mac that, by default, uses the comma as the decimal separator. I want it to use the dot as the decimal operator.

So I went into System Preferences->Language & Region->Advanced, and I changed the decimal operator from "," to ".".

Now my Excel (2016) spreadsheets use the dot instead of comma. Super.

However, my graphs created with Excel still use the comma (see attached image)![example of .'s used in spreadsheet but ,'s used in graph]1.

Has anyone come across this problem? I'm guessing it's a bug in Excel for Mac 2016.
