Update Manager Not working

Question

Hi When I try to press CHECK Button in Updated, it is not looking for updates available.

getting below error.

"Failed to Download repository information"

Check your Internet connection..

Solution

Try these in a terminal

sudo apt-get clean
cd /var/lib/apt
sudo mv lists lists.old
sudo mkdir -p lists/partial
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
