sekelus over 8 yearsit does not aply to me, my problem is the port not the device
-
Noki over 8 yearsEach port should be it's own device.
-
sekelus over 8 yearsmy device have 4 port... no the other way around, anyway i read the post you linked and did not find any solution to my problem
-
Noki over 8 yearsWhen I run
aplay -l
I see 4 HDMI ports along with the ports on my motherboard. Each port is considered a device. Perhaps your issue is with your driver? -

Noki over 8 yearsUse trial and error if it is unclear, I'm no expert on this but I have looked into it before and there are lots of resources on this. If you still get nowhere try and narrow your problem down further and post again. You'll figure it out eventually.

sekelus over 8 yearsok thanks you i will try 0-10 until i find the right one
-
Noki over 8 yearsPost again if you find exactly what was wrong, someone else may find it useful. Good luck.
-
sekelus over 8 yearsIt was exactly as you said. TIL each port on a device is considered a device itself.
