It looks like you may have an antivirus conflict. It looks like they have a test build to fix the issue.

I solve problems. I make systems better. I have had over 7 years of production experience in software development with a core focus on managing web applications. I am a full-stack engineer with much proficiency in NodeJS, React, TypeScript, Angular, Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, GCP, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, among others. I have held leadership roles in many companies, managing teams of various sizes. I can easily collaborate in cross-functional teams with deep knowledge in the design, management, and deployment of software products and services. I have excellent traits in technical project management, software product management, and DevOps engineering. When you look around you, this world is not perfect. I live to help make things right. I am IoT enthusiastic thus, I love working on embedded systems. Building software from grounds-up is easily doable for me. I look for inspirational ideas and improve upon them. I love Mathematics (Calculus, Discreet Maths, Algebra) and Physics (Nuclear Physics, Dynamics, and Electronics). I am a problem solver. Speed and efficiency are my backbones. Coordinating teams is something I love doing, and that love alone is mostly my solution.

    I am using windows 7 Ultimate with virtual Box 4.3.14 installed. I created a virtual machine but when I start the virtual machine, I get this error:

    Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Ubuntu.

    The virtual machine 'Ubuntu' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code

    Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
    Component: Machine
    Interface: IMachine {480cf695-2d8d-4256-9c7c-cce4184fa048}

    What is the problem with my virtual machine. Is there anything I have not done?

      Can you provide the log files? They should be located in the same directory as the VM files.

    Thanks I am going to try the test build. Yesterday I looked at the forum post provided above, and downgraded to version 3.1.8 and it worked good, but I want the latest version, and I am going to try that test build. Thanks again and I hope it works.
